About Us
Started in the early 60s by parents of people with disabilities, STEP, Inc. continues to look for ways to daily enhance the lives of people with disabilities in our local communities. STEP works with people with disabilities to support them in their work lives, their community lives and in the way they spend their day to day lives. STEP welcomes and looks forward to working with community members, employers, families, other providers and people with disabilities themselves to provide opportunities for productive, meaningful lives for all.

Positions
STEP Inc. offers several positions within the company such as Direct Support Professionals, Job Coaches, Employment Consultants, Program Coordinator and Site Managers.
Facility & Community Support
STEP Inc. offers support for clients with disabilities in vocational, daily living, health maintenance and recreational activities. STEP Inc. will also provide assistance and support in facility, crew or individual employment in the community or surrounding communities.

General
STEP Inc. employees will be able to communicate well with clients, teaching them appropriate instructional methods to meet the individual needs. Employees at STEP Inc. are able to work on their own as well as a part of a team. They are able to take initiative when needed and use good judgment even in the most stressful times. At all times STEP Inc. employees are good role models and show professionalism to the clients, agency, community and to one's self.

General
STEP Inc. provides training in Vulnerable Adult, Behavior Support, Emergency procedures and many more during the year. STEP Inc. also supports many trainings and Certified classes that will help an individual in the position that they currently are working or positions that they desire in the future.
