About Us
Federated is an electric cooperative utility serving 6,800 Jackson and Martin County residents. Federated also sells and installs water heaters for its members. Energy-efficiency rebates are offered as well. Federated is also an owner in two subsidiaries offering services. Cooperative Television of Southern Minnesota (CTV) owns three UHF TV stations and rebroadcasts more than 80 TV channels from its three towers at Jackson, Frost and Godahl. Next, Heartland Security sells and installs medical alert and security systems for residential, agricultural and businesses.
